Farmer's Future Delight

Farmer's Future Delight is a foundation mod for the Farmer's Delight ecosystem on Minecraft 1.12.2.

Many Farmer's Delight add-ons originally use ingredients from newer Minecraft versions, such as sweet berries, honey, glow berries, aquatic plants, and Nether fungi. When these add-ons are ported to 1.12.2, they often need another backport mod that provides the missing content or must use substitute ingredients instead.

Farmer's Future Delight brings these newer ingredients together in one place, providing a unified and reliable ingredient source for my other Farmer's Delight add-ons.

To help these ingredients feel like a natural part of the game, they are introduced through appropriate world generation, plant growth, creatures, and gathering methods rather than simply being added to the creative inventory. However, the main purpose of this mod is still to support other Farmer's Delight add-ons rather than introduce a separate cooking system of its own.

Backported Content

Farmer's Future Delight currently includes the following content from newer Minecraft versions:

• Sweet berries and sweet berry bushes.
  (With the default configuration, this content will not be registered if Future MC or BOMD+DA is installed.)

• Bees, bee nests, beehives, honey bottles, honeycombs, and related blocks.
  (With the default configuration, this content will not be registered if Future MC is installed.)

• Lush caves and their associated plants, including moss, glow berries, azaleas, dripleaves, hanging roots, and spore blossoms.
  (With the default configuration, the corresponding lush cave content will not be registered if Depths Update is installed. Glow berries will also not be registered if BOMD+DA is installed.)

• Glow squids and glow ink sacs.
  (With the default configuration, this content will not be registered if Oceanic Expanse is installed.)

• Ocean content such as kelp, seagrass, sea pickles, turtles, and turtle eggs.
  (With the default configuration, the corresponding ocean content will not be registered if Oceanic Expanse is installed. Seagrass will also not be registered if Future MC is installed.)

• Crimson and warped forests, along with their associated plants and wood sets.
  (With the default configuration, the corresponding content will not be registered if Future MC, Netherized, or Unseen's Nether Backport is installed.)

Most content can be individually adjusted, disabled, or forcibly enabled through the configuration file.

In short: Farmer's Future Delight brings ingredients from the future back to 1.12.2, while other Farmer's Delight add-ons put them on the table.
