FasLoad is a lightweight performance optimization mod for Minecraft Java Edition with Fabric, focused on reducing unnecessary waiting during game startup, resource loading and singleplayer world initialization.

FasLoad does not add blocks, items or gameplay mechanics. It works behind the scenes to make Minecraft reach the main menu and playable worlds faster.

🔥 Hot-JAR Cache

FasLoad can warm important Minecraft and mod files during the earliest stage of startup.

This allows frequently accessed files to reach the operating system cache before later loading stages need them, helping reduce storage-related waiting on supported systems.

The optimization is temporary and focused only on loading.

🧵 Adaptive Loading Workers

During expensive startup and resource-loading stages, FasLoad can temporarily increase available background processing capacity.

Once the loading stage finishes, the original worker configuration is restored automatically.

This allows FasLoad to use additional CPU resources when they are most useful without permanently changing normal gameplay behavior.

🌎 Faster Singleplayer World Loading

When entering a singleplayer world, FasLoad temporarily reduces the amount of terrain Minecraft must prepare before allowing the player to enter.

The initial bootstrap uses a very small spawn area and reduced distances.

Once the player is ready, FasLoad automatically restores the normal view and simulation distances.

This helps reduce the time between clicking a world and actually being able to play.

⚡ Repeated World Loading

FasLoad is especially effective when reopening a world during the same Minecraft session.

Cached resources and the lightweight bootstrap system can significantly reduce subsequent world-entry times.

Actual performance depends on your hardware, world, storage and installed mods.

🛡️ Safe Temporary Optimizations

FasLoad is designed so that its aggressive loading optimizations are temporary.

• Normal view distance is restored automatically
• Normal simulation distance is restored automatically
• Worker changes are released after loading
• Spawn optimization only affects the initial preparation process
• No permanent world-generation changes
• No gameplay content is added
• No configuration file is required

🎮 Designed for Modded Minecraft

FasLoad can be used by itself and does not require other performance mods to provide its main optimizations.

However, combining it with specialized optimization mods can improve other areas of Minecraft such as rendering, memory usage, ticking and lighting.

Compatibility can change depending on mod versions and configurations.

⚠️ About Optimization Modpacks

Installing more optimization mods does not automatically mean more performance.

Some mods may optimize the same Minecraft systems and can occasionally overlap or conflict.

Recommended approach:

1. Start with FasLoad and your main optimization mods.
2. Add additional mods gradually.
3. Test startup, world loading and gameplay.
4. Remove a mod if performance becomes worse or instability appears.

FasLoad does not require C2ME, Sodium, Lithium or the other recommended mods to operate.

Performance varies depending on:

During development testing, FasLoad showed strong improvements in Minecraft startup and repeated singleplayer world loading.

It does not promise a fixed loading time, specific FPS increase or identical results on every computer.

Its goal is to eliminate avoidable loading overhead while maintaining stability.
