About
Description
FastLib
FastLib is a lightweight shared library for Minecraft Forge mods, built to provide reusable systems, optimized utilities, and a consistent development foundation across my projects — while remaining fully open source and available for anyone to use.
At its core, FastLib is designed to reduce duplicated code and make advanced mod development easier without sacrificing performance or flexibility.
Features
🎥 Built-in Camera System
Includes a powerful camera framework with support for:
- Camera interpolation and smooth transitions
- Lock-in / target tracking behavior
- Programmable movement and positioning
- Extensible architecture for custom camera behaviors
⚡ Performance-Oriented Utilities
A collection of optimized algorithms and helper utilities focused on keeping systems efficient and scalable.
🧠 Math & Development Toolkit
Includes reusable mathematical utilities and abstractions commonly needed during mod development.
🔔 Event Infrastructure
Flexible event systems designed to simplify communication between independent systems and reduce coupling.
🧱 Custom Data Structures
Purpose-built data structures and utilities intended to improve both usability and runtime efficiency.
🔓 Open Source & Developer Friendly
FastLib is fully open source and built to be extended. Whether you want to depend on existing systems or build your own modules on top of them, the library is designed to stay modular and accessible.
Goal
FastLib exists to act as a common foundation for modern Forge mod development — providing reliable building blocks and allowing developers to focus on creating features instead of rewriting infrastructure.
