About
Description
Not every crop thrives everywhere.
Fertility Reborn transforms farming into a strategic choice, or something which requires a bit of infrastructure. Each chunk of your world has its own unique fertility. Some crops flourish, others struggle, and many won't grow at all. You must make decisions about which plants you research for an area, since by default, you can only research 10 plants in one chunk. Maybe this might encourage Create trains (or greenhouses/sprinklers?).

🌱 How It Works
Every chunk supports a limited selection of naturally fertile plants, influenced by the local biome. Hold any seed or sapling to instantly see if it will thrive in your current location. Hold a hoe or bonemeal to see all fertile plants in your area.
Fertility:
- 🟢 Fertile: grows at full speed
- 🟡 Non-Ideal: grows slowly
- 🔴 Infertile: won't grow at all

🔬 Seed Research Station
Craft a Seed Research Station to discover all fertile plants in your chunk. Feed it seeds and fertilizer to unlock the knowledge you need to plan your farms. Emits a weak redstone signal when it is researching something that is non-ideal, and emits a full redstone signal once the research is complete and the plant is fertile. This is chance-based, so hopefully you have some extra seeds. Bringing plants from other dimensions takes a bit longer to research.

💧 Fertilization Sprinkler
Found the perfect spot? Supercharge it with the Fertilization Sprinkler. This bone meal-powered device accelerates crop growth in a 9x9 area, and can be disabled with redstone when you need control. If a plant is infertile, it effectively becomes non-ideal. If it is non-ideal, it effectively becomes fertile. If it's already fertile, then sprinklers give an additional 50% growth rate bonus!

🏠 Greenhouse Bypass
Any crop can grow under glass with a clear view to the sky. Infertile plants will grow as if they are non-ideal, and non-ideal plants will grow as if they are fertile! This also stacks with sprinklers, meaning if you have done the first tier of research (to get a non-ideal fertality) you can get the 50% growth speed bonus if it's in a greenhouse setting.

✨ Features
- Biome-aware fertility. By default, biomes select plants similar to what they use to generate.
- Dimension support. Unique fertility for Overworld, Nether, and End. Custom dimensions can be configured, or will use overworld odds. By default, research odds from non-native species in a dimension will be halved.
- Real-time HUD. See fertility status while holding any plantable item.
- Hoe inspection. Hold a hoe or bonemeal to view all fertile plants in the chunk you are in.
- JEI integration. Browse research station and sprinkler recipes.
- Grass drops fertile seeds. You might find seeds you need in grass. Configurable.
- Fully configurable. Adjust fertile plants per chunk, growth rates, and more.

💻Commands
Requires server op status!
/fertility grant [plant] [radius?]
gives the plant fertility in your chunk, if radius is specified, then also gives fertility in those chunks around
/fertility set [plant] [tier] [radius?]
gives the plant fertility in your chunk at the tier level you define (fertile, non_ideal, infertile]
/fertility clear [radius?]
removes all non-natural fertility (if you want no natural fertility, there is a config you can set to 0
/fertility grantall [radius?]
grants all crops fertility.
Farming will never feel the same.
