Fishing Crates

Additions

Fishing Crates adds a function to a combination of barrels and bamboo trapdoors, with them you can set up a fishing crate that fishes up loot from time to time.

Purpose

It allows you to catch fish, junk or treasure while you're away exploring or working on other projects. Helps with gaining loot over a span of time, that may become useful in the long run.

Functionality

Loot Catches

There is an interval from 15s to 60s between each catch of loot. However, if 4 or more fishing crates are in distance of 8 blocks to each other, then an additional 30s will be added to the interval. Once reached an amount of 5 fishing crates or over, for every additional fishing crate after the 4th are 10s added.

Loot Chances

• Fish Loot: 27%
• Junk Loot: 13%
• Treasure Loot: 6%

Setup

Materials

• 1 bamboo trapdoor
• 1 barrel

Instructions

1. Look for a biome of any deep or not ocean, river, shore or beach.
2. Place a barrel facing upwards and have it be least 2 or more blocks under water.
3. Place a bamboo trapdoor on top of the barrel, making sure it is waterlogged.
