About
Description
A very simple mod that will nothing on its own (in fact will be disabled) if you don't have Rikmuld's Camping mod in your modpack alongside that mod.
The issue:
The Camping mod's tents can desync from the world when another world-gen mod (e.g. Lost Cities) overwrites or removes the block underneath after the tent's TileEntity has already been placed. The orphaned TileEntity keeps trying to tick against a block that's no longer there, throwing a scala.MatchError inside TileEntityTent#update and crashing the server every time that chunk loads — a permanent crash loop for any affected chunk, with no way to recover short of manually editing the save.
The features:
- Automatic cleanup on chunk load — silently removes orphaned
TileEntityTentinstances the moment an affected chunk loads, before they ever get ticked, preventing the crash entirely. - Retroactive — fixes worlds and chunks generated before you installed the fix, no new world needed.
- Soft dependency — detects the Camping mod at runtime via reflection; does nothing if it isn't installed, no hard dependency required.
/tentghostfix scan— an op-only command that force-scans every chunk already saved to disk (reading region files directly), reporting exactly how many ghost tents were found and removed across the whole world, instead of waiting for a player to stumble onto one.dryRunconfig option — run a scan or let the passive hook run in audit-only mode (logs detections without removing anything) if you want to verify behavior on your own world first.
