About
Description
"The Scent of Mortal Hearth, the Greatest Solace for the Ordinary Heart."
This mod introduces over 90 new types of crops, more than 70 new livestock products, over 50 placeable dishes, over 30 placeable juices, numerous new kitchen tools, a wealth of food items, a considerable number of decorative building blocks, and some mini-game toys.

The mod focuses on adding a comprehensive dining system. It expands the vanilla agriculture system by introducing a variety of unique crops and kitchen utensils, along with a large number of craftable dishes based on authentic Chinese cuisine. The goal is to provide an immersive culinary experience—from planting and ingredient preparation to cooking and enjoyment. The mod features predominantly Chinese elements, though future updates will also incorporate cultural elements from other regions. Most dishes offer hunger and health restoration effects similar to vanilla food, while some special dishes also provide unique positive status effects.
The mod is extensive in scope, adding a wide range of common elements while also introducing new gameplay mechanics.
The mod introduces a custom stir-fry feature: After using cooking oil to season the wok, players can place any items (up to six types) into the wok for stir-frying. The number of stir-fries will affect the final "heat level" of the dish. Adding seasonings before finishing the stir-fry can grant the final dish exclusive buffs corresponding to those seasonings. If the ingredient combination matches a preset recipe, a specific classic dish will be created; if it is a free combination, a customizable-named "custom dish" will be produced. Players can freely expand the types of items producible by the wok and create new recipes by modifying the configuration file (config).
The mod adds a custom filling feature: Players can process any item in the meat grinder to create corresponding fillings. These fillings serve as ingredients for making some of the mod's flour-based foods, such as steamed buns (baozi) and dumplings. By using the filling and dough on the rolling board, players can craft the corresponding flour-based food, which can then be cooked to produce the final item.
The mod introduces over thirty new status effects, most of which are provided by seasonings. These effects offer significant buffs in areas such as combat and exploration. Players can choose to apply seasonings in the wok, cooking pot, or by holding them in the off-hand while consuming food. Detailed descriptions of the seasoning effects are listed in the mod's guidebook.
