Flint'N'Powder (Or FNP for short) is a mod that adds a few mobs and guns, made to accompany melee combat and vanilla-ish progression!

Reloading and Firing:

  1. Check for the calibre and firing mechanism(matchlock, flint and hole, etc.) in the description of your weapon.
  2. Pour in gunpowder by holding it in your offhand
  3. Load a bullet of required calibre by holding it in your offhand
  4. Use ramrod if needed(or stick if you are reloading flinter)
  5. Fire!

This is how you reload most of FNP guns!

Some guns still require special actions to fire:

-To fire a matchlock, ignite it with a flint and steel in your offhand (Note that the gun can not shoot when under water)

-To fire a flint-and-hole gun, strike it with a flint in your offhand until it fires.

-Endlock guns have specific, unique reloads. Check the Book Of Thousand Guns for details.

This is how you matchlocks and flint-and-holes

RMB loads and fires guns.

Birdshot Enchantment increases your weapon's pellet count by 33% per level. It is accesible only for multiple projectile firearms.

Ghost Loading Enchantment increases your weapon's magazine size by 25% per level. It is accesible only for endlocks.

Trigger Finger Enchantment decreases your weapon's cooldown after shooting by 25% per level and increases flintlock's hammer priming and endlock's cycling speeds.

Swift Reload Enchantment increases your weapon's chamber loading speed. This includes pouring gunpowder, loading bullets and changing magazines.

Ramrod Mastery increases your weapon's ramrod use speed. It is accesible only for muzzleloaders such as flint-and-holes, matchlocks and flintlocks.

New mobs:

This mod also adds several new mobs that are armed with primitive firearms - the cultists. Cultists are the new ranged mob type that patrols underground caverns and aids pillagers on their raids.

Cultist's face

Cultst is a simple unarmored ranged mob that spawns in squads of 3-4, doing It's usual patrolling routine. It spawns in Dripstone caves and Lush caves regions. At raids, It steamrolls by numbers and volley fire.

Veteran cultist's face!(No helmet)

Veteran Cultst is a long ranged lightly armored marksman that sometimes spawns in squads of 2, usually patrolling harsh and dangerous enviroments of Crimson forests and Deep dark. At raids, It's firing at player from afar and running away from the attacking crowd of other cultists to take a good firing position.

Berserk cultist's face!(No helmet)

Berserk Cultst is a reasonably armored melee mob that sometimes spawns in squads of 2, patroling in Dripstone caves, Lush caves and dangerous enviroments of Crimson forest and Deep dark. It's armed with a giant bayonet and has alot of health, but It does not shoot. At raids, It's running for player and taking his shots instead of the other raiders.

Miscellanious Items:

Repair kits are used to repair all firearms from the FNP Mod, simply just put your gun in one hand, and repair kit in the other when using to repair your weapon!

This is how you repair your firearms!

If you want to check out how to reload weapon with certain mechanism - you can always check out a Book Of Thousand Guns! It's craft is simple, so you won't need many efforts to remember it's recipe!
