Project Description (Full):
Welcome to Floral Banner Invocation! This mod introduces a magical, nature-themed ritual system to your Minecraft world. By combining specific vanilla flowers with colored banners, you can perform ancient rites to empower yourself or command the skies.

 Features:
1. Floral Buff Rituals

  • Place a colored banner on a grass block. Plant the corresponding colored flowers on the blocks directly in front, behind, left, and right of the banner.

  • Light the banner with Flint and Steel. If the structure and colors match, the banner and flowers will vanish, granting players within a 5-block radius a specific buff!

  • Different colors provide different buffs (e.g., Red for Regeneration, Yellow for Haste, Cyan for Absorption).

  • You can mix flowers of the same color (e.g., Orange Tulips and Torchflowers for an Orange banner), but mixing different colors will cause the ritual to fail.

2. Weather Rituals

  • Want to change the weather? Place a banner (any color, including Ominous Banners) and surround it with 4 Cauldrons.

  • If all 4 Cauldrons are filled with Water, lighting the banner will summon Rain!

  • If all 4 Cauldrons are filled with Lava, lighting the banner will clear the skies and bring Sunny weather!

  • The banner is consumed, but the Cauldrons and their liquids remain for future use.

3. Alternative Placement (Elevated Banner)

  • You can also perform rituals by elevating the banner! Place the banner on top of any block (dirt, stone, wood, etc.).

  • Simply place the 4 flowers or 4 Cauldrons on the layer directly beneath the banner, surrounding the central pillar. The ritual will still trigger perfectly.

4. Spectacular Effects

  • Successful rituals will strike a harmless lightning bolt on the banner without causing damage or fire.

  • Floral rituals play a Level Up sound, while weather rituals play a mighty Thunder sound.

  • Failed attempts will simply extinguish the fire, consuming nothing.

 Important Notes:

  • Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge.

  • No custom textures or sounds are required; this mod fully utilizes vanilla assets!
