A Sky Dimension mod inspired by a dream

Fluorite is an immersive adventure mod that introduces a breathtaking Aether-inspired Sky Dimension. Unlike traditional dimensional mods, Fluorite challenges players to adapt to the realm's unique natural laws, which dictate survival and progression beyond Netherite. It adds new ways to explore, build, and fight.

This mod has been developed by me in my spare time for over five years, turning a world once imagined in thought into a fully realized Minecraft experience.

☁️ New Aether-Inspired Dimension: Realm of Dreams
Ascend into a mysterious sky realm filled with floating islands, unique biomes, custom mobs, and hidden secrets around every corner.

☀️ Day & Night Biome Dynamics
The Sky realm reacts dynamically to time and weather. Resources are locked behind specific cycles, requiring you to adapt your playstyle.

🌬️ Atmospheric Adaptations & Wind Physics
Traversing floating islands requires understanding the realm's unique physics. Utilize specialized tools and glide (or fall) through the heavenly realm.

⌛ Backported Vanilla Additions
Built for 1.20.1, Fluorite includes backported and reimagined versions of future base game features, such as Happy Ghasts, Spears, and a custom Pale Garden. (WIP)

Expand your survival journey beyond vanilla limits! Discover new tiers of gear, unique weapons, and powerful armor sets designed to conquer the sky's toughest challenges.

⚔️ 10 New Bosses & Enemies
Face progressively harder opponents across different biomes! Battle initial bosses for upgrade templates and challenge high-tier encounters to unlock secret vaults and endgame materials.

📜 10-Stage Progression Overview

1. Tree Resin & Amber: Harvest tree resin from trees and melt it down to create Amber Bars.
2. Pyronite in Nether: Cool hot Pyronite Ore in Basalt Deltas with water to mine it. Craft the Amber Lighter using Blaze Rods, Amber, Flint, and Pyronite Clumps.
3. Dimensional Gateway: Ignite a Glowstone frame with the Amber Lighter to open the portal to the Realm of Dreams.
4. Sky Ice & Cryonite: Craft a Frost Elixir (using Warm Stones from Nether Flame creatures) to enter the freezing Sky Ice biome and harvest Cryonite.
5. Obsidian Upgrade: Use Cryonite to upgrade Netherite or Ruby equipment (found at night) into durable Obsidian gear.
6. Jade Upgrades & Bosses: Battle initial bosses to obtain upgrade templates for Jade, found in the Sky Verdant biome during the day.
7. Jade Vaults & Keys: Defeat medium-tier bosses for Jade Vault Keys, unlocking secret vaults containing Astrum crafting materials.
8. Moonlight Survival: Craft Stellar Torches using Light Essence from bosses to safely navigate and mine in the pitch-black Moonlight Biome.
9. Astrum Equipment: Mine Astrum under protection or locate it in rare dungeons to craft the next tier of weapons and armor.
10. Solarium Endgame: Defeat the final boss set to claim Solarium Ore. Place it in direct sunlight to charge it and harvest the ultimate endgame gear.

1. Requires Minecraft 1.20.1 and Minecraft Forge.
2. JEI (Just Enough Items) / REI / EMI: Highly recommended for easy recipe and elixir lookups.

Q: Can I include Fluorite in my Modpack?

*   A: Yes! Feel free to include Fluorite in any public or private modpack. A credit link back to this page is greatly appreciated!

Q: Will Fluorite be ported to Fabric / NeoForge?

*   A: Currently, Fluorite is developed exclusively for Forge (1.20.1). Fabric/NeoForge ports are not currently planned.

Q: Is this mod compatible with Shaderpacks?

*   A: Yes, most shaders work great. For custom skybox shaders, ensure your shaderpack supports custom dimension skies.
