Welcome to a new technological era in Minecraft.
FluxForge introduces a powerful and flexible natural energy system designed to transform how players upgrade gear and how mod developers create future technology-based machines.

Instead of relying on traditional enchantments or simple upgrades, FluxForge allows players to generate, store, transfer, and compress energy gathered directly from the world. This energy can then be used to forge and enhance tools, weapons, and armor using advanced machinery — but with great power comes serious risk. ⚠️

FluxForge is designed as a both-side mod: it offers deep gameplay mechanics for players while also providing a clean and expandable energy API that mod developers can use to power their own machines and tech systems.

⚡ Natural Energy System

FluxForge introduces a new type of power called Flux Energy.

This energy is generated using natural sources found throughout the world. Instead of simply crafting power generators and forgetting about them, players must design real energy networks that harvest power from the environment.

Available energy sources include:

☀️ Solar Collectors – Generate energy from sunlight during the day.
🌊 Hydro Generators – Convert flowing water into stable power.
🌬️ Wind Turbines – Produce energy at high altitudes where winds are stronger.
Storm Collectors – Capture lightning during thunderstorms for massive bursts of power.

Each generator behaves differently and produces energy at different rates, encouraging players to experiment with various setups and infrastructure designs.

🔋 Energy Networks

Once energy is generated, it must be transported and stored properly.

FluxForge introduces several components to build energy networks:

🔌 Energy Conduits – Transport Flux Energy between machines.
🔋 Flux Batteries – Store large amounts of energy for later use.
⚙️ Energy Regulators – Control the flow of energy between systems.
🧯 Energy Vents – Release excess energy to prevent dangerous overloads.

Players can design entire power grids capable of supporting large forging operations or complex technological bases.

🔨 The Flux Forge

At the center of the mod is the Flux Forge, a powerful multiblock machine used to compress Flux Energy directly into equipment.

Inside the forge, players can insert:

🗡️ Weapons
⛏️ Tools
🛡️ Armor

The forge will then infuse the item with compressed energy, potentially granting powerful enhancements.

Possible improvements include:

⚡ Faster mining speeds
⚔️ Increased weapon damage
🛡️ Stronger armor protection
💎 Improved durability
✨ Special energy-based effects

However, the process is highly unstable.

💥 Overload System

Flux Energy is extremely volatile. If too much power is pushed into the forge too quickly, the system becomes unstable.

When this happens:

⚠️ The machine begins to shake
⚠️ Sparks of energy start leaking
⚠️ Warning sounds appear

If the player fails to stabilize the system in time…

💣 The forge may trigger a catastrophic energy explosion capable of destroying nearby structures.

This risk creates a unique gameplay loop where players must balance power, stability, and engineering skill to achieve the best possible upgrades.

🧠 Designed for Players and Mod Developers

FluxForge is not only a gameplay mod — it also serves as a foundation for future tech mods.

The mod provides a clean and modular Flux Energy API that allows other developers to easily integrate the energy system into their own machines and technologies.

This means FluxForge can become a shared energy standard used across multiple technology mods.

Possible integrations include:

🏭 Advanced factories
🚀 transportation systems
⚙️ automated machines
🧨 experimental energy devices

🌍 Endless Engineering Possibilities

FluxForge transforms Minecraft into a world where players must master energy infrastructure, machine stability, and experimental forging technology.

Build massive solar farms.
Capture lightning storms.
Construct dangerous energy reactors.
And push the limits of power to create the ultimate equipment.

Just remember…

The stronger the energy you control,
the closer you are to catastrophic overload. ⚡💥
