Description

Fly Command

Mod Introduction

Simple Fly Command is an extremely lightweight Minecraft mod. It does one thing and does it best: giving any player (including those in Survival mode) the ability to fly with a single command.

In vanilla Minecraft, you cannot freely fly in Survival mode, and even Creative mode requires operator privileges to switch. This mod adds a single command, /fly, which anyone can use without OP permissions or changing game modes, allowing you to soar like in Creative mode while staying in Survival.

Features

  • One‑click flight: Type /fly to instantly enable flight mode; type /fly again to disable it.
  • Works in Survival mode: No need to switch to Creative mode – fly directly in Survival, Adventure, and other modes.
  • No OP permission required: Regular players can use it, making it perfect for servers that want to offer flight to all members.
  • Cross‑dimension support: Works in the Overworld, Nether, End, and any other dimension.
  • Status feedback: Clear in‑game messages inform you when flight is turned on or off.

Characteristics

Characteristic Description
No permission required No OP needed – any player can type /fly
Lightweight The mod file is very small, with almost zero performance overhead
Simple to use One command, no configuration, no GUI

Why download this mod?

  • Make Survival mode more free: When building high structures, exploring huge caves, or crossing lava seas, flight greatly improves efficiency and gameplay. No more switching to Creative mode or enabling cheats just to fly.
  • A blessing for server management: You don’t want to give regular players OP permissions, but you want to allow flight? This mod solves it perfectly. You can safely let all players use flight without worrying about them accessing other admin commands.
  • Essential for lightweight modpacks: If you are making a modpack focused on building, exploration, or casual play, adding this mod lets players skip tedious permission settings and directly enjoy the convenience of flight.
  • Great for minigames or custom maps: Need players to fly in a map but don’t want to turn on Creative mode? /fly is the cleanest solution.
