Description
Foods+ implements new ways of making food.
Please note that this mod is experimental! There will be more features added soon.
Even if not every recipe shows up, it is strongly recommended to use Foods+ with JEI (Just Enough Items).
New Blocks:
- The Mixer can mix milk, cacao beans, chocolate and sunflowers to obtain new items. Craft the mixer with 3 stone, 2 redstone and 1 iron ingot.
- The Fruit Press can transform any sort of apples or carrots to make juice out of them. You will need to make glasses to pour the liquid in.
- The Kneading Machine transforms regular dough into dough you can bake in a furnace. Just put the dough in the first slot and select one of the different recipes.
New Items:
- Flour is crafted with 6 wheat and is used for dough.
- Butter is obtained by mixing milk in a mixer.
- Regular Dough is crafted with milk, butter, flour and sugar.
- Salt is obtained by smelting water in a furnace.
- Cocoa Butter is obtained by mixing cocoa beans in a mixer.
- Sunflower Oil is obtained by mixing sunflowers in a mixer.
- Chocolate is crafted with 2 cocoa butter, cocoa beans, 1 milk bucket and 1 sugar.
- Chocolate Sauce is obtained by mixing chocolate in a mixer.
- By kneading dough in a kneading machine, you can make:
- Baguette Dough
- Croissant Dough
- Roll Dough
- Bretzel Dough
- Flatbread Dough
- When putting one of the five doughs in a furnace you can finally make yourself your own bread. You can now enjoy your Baguettes, Croissants, Rolls, Bretzels and Flatbread.
- Chocolate Dough can be crafted with 2 regular dough and chcocolate.
- Put chocolate Dough in a furnace to make yourself a chocolate cake!
- You can even add chocolate sauce to make a glazed chocolate cake.
- Salted Potato Stripes can be obtained by crafting 2 potatoes and salt together.
- Get French Fries by putting your potato stripes in a furnace.
- Bake regular dough in a furnace to obtain Waffles.
- A baked roll can be used to craft Breadcrumbs.
- Raw Schnitzel can be crafted with breadcrums and raw meat.
- Now cook the raw Schnitzel to obtain a cooked Schnitzel!
- Noodle Dough can be crafted with oil, salt, an egg and flour.
- Just put Noodle Dough in a furnace to make Spaghetti!
- New soups are added: Pumpkin Soup, Chicken Soup, Fish Soup and Strange Soup
- Craft Glass with a glass block.
- With the fruit press you can make:
- Apple Juice
- Golden Apple Juice
- Enchanted Golden Apple Juice
- Carrot Juice
- Golden Carrot Juice
Other features:
- Press L to see achievements. They can help you if you don't know how to progress.
- You can now change a villagers profession to a baker, by placing a kneading machine near a villager without profession. He will give you new secret items...
