Four Realms: Dragonbound

Four new worlds. Four brutal bosses. Dragons you can ride.

Craft a Realm Key, open a portal to one of four hidden dimensions, and fight for gear you can't get anywhere else.

The Realms

• Shadow: dark forests and pale gardens (easiest)
• Frost: ice spikes and frozen peaks
• Sky: floating islands in the clouds
• Ember: scorched badlands and desert (hardest)

Features

• Bosses that fight back. They enrage at half health, summon minions and wear heavy armor. Cinder King is built to be a real challenge.
• Boss-only gear. Cores and Relics drop only from bosses and aren't in the creative menu. Forge armor sets, swords, pickaxes, axes, shovels and hoes.
• Realm enchantments: Shadow Vigor, Ember Fury, Frost Ward and Sky Stride, dropped as boss books.
• New ores, tougher mobs and hazards in every realm. Held realm gear protects you from them.
• Realm Dragons fly over each world. Collect Realm Shards and a Dragon Heart to craft a Dragon Whistle, then ride your dragon.
• Animated boss and dragon models with flapping wings and swinging limbs (resource pack).
• In-game guide book. Every player gets a 16-page guide when they join.

How to play

1. Craft a Realm Key (see the recipe book or the guide book).
2. Hold right-click on the key to enter a realm.
3. Defeat the boss to win Cores and Relics.
4. Forge your gear and take on a harder realm. Use /trigger realms_exit to leave a realm.

Requirements

• Minecraft Java 1.21.11
• Datapack (required): bosses, realms, gear and enchantments
• Plugin (optional, Paper): ore, dragons, rideable mounts, elite mobs and hazards
• Resource pack (optional): custom boss and dragon models

Install

1. Back up your world.
2. Put the datapack zip (don't unzip it) into world/datapacks.
3. Restart the server. /reload is not enough for new dimensions.
4. For the full experience, add the plugin to plugins/ and set the resource pack in server.properties.
