# Four Corners World Type
Start a **Four Corners Skyblock** world with one click.
This mod adds a new entry to the **World Type** button on the Create World screen. Pick it and your new world generates as an empty void with the **Four Corners hub** already standing at spawn, ready for you and your friends to play. There is no command-block setup, no structure pasting and no world download to unpack.
It was made for the **Four Corners Skyblock** modpack, so anyone can start the same world on their own. It has **no dependencies** and works on any 1.12.2 Forge setup.
## What you get on a new world
- **The Four Corners hub** at spawn, built exactly as in the modpack, with its signs, chests and command blocks.
- **A true skyblock start.** Everything outside the hub is void.
- **The right spawn point.** You appear on the hub, not in mid-air.
- **Game rules pre-set** to match the modpack.
- **The four colour teams** set up on the scoreboard from the start, so players can pick a corner straight away.
- **Normal Nether and End.** Only the Overworld is void.
## How to use it
### Singleplayer
1. Click **Create New World**.
2. Click **More World Options**.
3. Press the **World Type** button until it reads **Four Corners Skyblock**.
4. Click **Create New World**.
### Dedicated server
1. Install the mod on the server.
2. Open `server.properties` and set:
```
level-type=fourcorners
```
3. Delete or rename your old world folder, then start the server. The hub is created when the new world is generated.
## Good to know
- **Install it on both the client and the server.** Players without it installed won't be able to join a server that uses it.
- **It only affects new worlds.** Worlds you already have are never changed.
- **No other mods are required,** but the hub is designed around the Four Corners Skyblock modpack. Some of its signs and chests refer to items and mods from that pack.
- **First launch:** the hub map is bundled in the jar and unpacked once to `config/fourcornersworldtype/template`. You don't need to touch that folder.
## Frequently asked questions
**Can I use this on an existing world?**
No. It only applies when a world is created, so your saves are safe.
**Why is everything outside the hub just void?**
That is the skyblock idea. You build outwards from the hub with what you are given.
**Does it work with other mods?**
Yes. It only adds a world type. It doesn't touch other mods' blocks, items or recipes.
**Can I change the hub?**
The hub is bundled in the jar and copied into `config/fourcornersworldtype/template`. The copy is refreshed whenever the mod is updated, so any changes you make to it will be replaced by the new version.
**Can I include it in a modpack?**
Yes. Please credit the mod and link back to this page.
