FixPlaceContainer

Ever tried placing a block on a chest, crafting table, furnace, or another interactive block — only to open it instead?

FixPlaceContainer fixes this problem by allowing you to place blocks on interactive blocks without accidentally opening them.

Features

  • Place blocks on containers and other interactive blocks easily
  • Prevents accidental GUI opening when placing blocks
  • Client-side only — works without installing the mod on the server
  • Lightweight and compatible with most Fabric modpacks

How to use

  1. Install the mod on your client
  2. Press F8 to toggle the feature
  3. Place blocks normally on interactive blocks

The mod starts disabled by default.

Notes

This mod is inspired by building quality-of-life improvements from mods like Tweakeroo and similar building tools, but focuses on one simple problem: making block placement feel natural.
