What is FRACTURED?

FRACTURED is a psychological horror mod for Minecraft 1.20.1 built on Fabric. It runs silently in the background of your normal world and gradually corrupts the experience the longer you play. There are no boss fights, no menus to configure, and no way to turn it off. You just play, and things start to go wrong. The mod uses a hidden progression system that builds across six stages. The further it progresses, the more aggressive the events become. It starts small and gets worse. What this mod does to your computer FRACTURED intentionally performs the following actions on your system as part of the horror experience. These are features, not bugs, and are fully expected

behavior:

Writes files to your desktop. The mod drops video files onto your real desktop between sessions without warning. Displays fake system warnings. The mod can show a fake Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) that covers your screen. Writes to your clipboard. The mod may silently overwrite your clipboard contents. Shows fake crash screens. A fake Minecraft crash report can appear and lock your display.

Gameplay Features:

The mod includes a large roster of custom entities, each with unique behavior and sounds. Some chase you. Some watch from a distance and vanish when spotted. Some only appear when you type specific things in chat. Some will disconnect you, ban you from your world, or trigger a fake crash on contact. Outside of entities, the mod sends fake chat messages, leaks your coordinates, turns the sky red, locks your camera, freezes your movement, and modifies the title screen. It also includes a fully hand-built custom dimension with its own atmosphere and rules — the only exit is finding a hidden item inside it. The mod remembers your progress between sessions. There is no reset.

Requires Fabric API. Singleplayer only. Fabric 1.20.1.
