About

Description

FragmentVersion: The Nature Fragment FragmentVersion is an ambitious reimagining of Minecraft, functioning as an alternative development branch for the game. This project focuses on rebuilding the world piece by piece, perfecting existing mechanics while introducing unique, original content that expands the boundaries of the vanilla experience.

The first fragment — Nature — focuses on forestry and the logical interaction with trees. bark's

Changelog 1.0 (1.21.7 - 1.21.11) FragmentVersion brings a detailed and immersive approach to wood processing. No more "ruined" stripped logs or wasted axe clicks.

[+] Bark System: Stripping any Overworld log or wood block with an axe now drops its respective Bark item.

[+] Nether Shucks: Crimson and Warped stems in the Nether now drop unique Shucks upon being stripped.

[+] Block Restoration: You can restore a stripped block to its original state by right-clicking it with the appropriate Bark item.

[+] Bone Meal Regeneration: Using Bone Meal on a stripped log instantly regrows its bark, accompanied by vanilla particles and sounds.

[+] New Fuel Source: Overworld Bark can be used as fuel in furnaces. Nether Shucks are fire-resistant and do not function as fuel.

[+] New Advancement: Complete the "Botanical Wonders" task in the Husbandry category.

[-] Spruce Fix: Removed leaf particles from Spruce trees to ensure visual consistency with the taiga environment.

Technical Information Requirements: Fabric API.

Localization: Full support for English and Russian.

Installation: Required on both Client and Server.

The Vision FragmentVersion is a long-term project. Each future update will unlock a new "fragment" of the game, ranging from resource overhauls and tool mechanics to entirely new systems unrelated to the vanilla development vector.

Changelog 1.1.0 (1.21.7 - 1.21.11)

FragmentVersion expands its natural ecosystem, giving your leftover bark and bamboo real, balanced utility in survival.

[+] Bamboo Support: Stripping a Bamboo Block now drops Fibrous Bamboo. Like bark, it can be used to manually restore stripped bamboo or be regrown with Bone Meal.

[+] Paper Crafting: You can now craft Paper using any regular Overworld Bark or Fibrous Bamboo (implemented cleanly via item tags).

[+] Tanning Mechanics: Turn Rotten Flesh into Leather by combining it with any Overworld Bark in a crafting grid.

[+] Composter Integration: Bark and Fibrous Bamboo now have a 50% chance to raise the composter level. Nether Shucks are more nutritious and have a 65% chance.

[*] Fuel Rebalance: Increased Overworld Bark burn time from 20 to 100 ticks (5 seconds). Fibrous Bamboo added as a quick fuel source burning for 50 ticks (2.5 seconds).

[*] Under the Hood: Implemented automated JSON minification in the build process, keeping the final mod size incredibly lightweight (under 400 KB).
