Description
GAMEMODE SHORTCUTS
A small quality-of-life mod for anyone who switches gamemodes often - server admins, builders, and players testing things out. Instead of typing the full /gamemode survival command every time, you get short, memorable aliases that do the same thing.
Commands
/gms– switch to Survival/gmc– switch to Creative/gma– switch to Adventure/gmsp– switch to Spectator
Each command simply forwards the matching /gamemode ... command to the server in the background - it's purely a shortcut, nothing more. Whether the switch actually works still depends entirely on your permissions on that server. This mod doesn't bypass permissions or grant any extra access; it just saves you from typing the same long command over and over.
Why this mod?
If you're an admin who flips between Creative and Survival constantly while building or testing, or a player who wants a faster way to check something in Spectator mode, this mod removes the friction of typing full commands every time.
Compatibility
- Works on any vanilla-compatible Fabric server - no server-side installation needed
- Client-side only, so it won't affect other players who don't have it installed
Installation
- Install Fabric Loader
- Install Fabric API (required dependency)
- Drop this jar into your
modsfolder
NOTE: i'am going to make a paper version soon :)
