Information about Omega

OmegaQuest is an ARG version of Minecraft, it is a supposed fork in development in (1.20.1).

This alternate development of Minecraft was, for whatever reason, kept rather secret, with many people not knowing of its existence.

OmegaQuest was an attempt by a development group (Niljang) made up of former employees of Mojang who didn't like the direction that Minecraft was heading and wanted to bring back the old Beta feel of Minecraft, they added back old content and alot of new content.

 

Things you should know before playing!

JEI and Jade are recommended. Some information may not be immediately apparent without them.

Moderner Beta is not recommended. As it can mess with biomes and worldgen.

Shaders are also not recommended. Omega uses a custom skybox and other visual effects that may conflict with shaders, potentially causing visual glitches or breaking the skybox entirely (i mean if you really want to use shaders the skybox is toggleable via the config).

Nostalgic tweaks is also recommended. Althoguh its not necessary for the overall experience of the mod.

Please play with mod resources at the top of your resource pack list. There are custom textures that replace vanilla ones.

Please play with music on. as of now there are a few custom OSTs that can play that replace some of the minecraf songs.
