About
Description
Plant Origins.
A mod about where plants come from: any grass, flower, or bush can be disassembled into seeds and saplings to plant wherever you need.
Gardener's Table.
A block made of oak planks: you place a plant and get seeds or saplings in return, featuring a total of 56 types. It splits tall grass into two short ones, large ferns into two ferns, bushes into two saplings, and turns herbs, flowers, and crops into their respective seeds. It also extracts seeds from rotten fruits.
Seeds and Saplings.
Seeds and saplings can be planted where they naturally belong: in dirt, sand, water, farmland, or flower pots. The appearance of the seeds was designed based on real-world plants.
Flower Pots.
In addition to the vanilla pot, there are double and triple pots, as well as hanging pots on chains (single, double, and triple). Hanging pots can be placed anywhere a lantern would hold, allowing them to be hung one below another. The slot is selected by looking at it, similar to a book on a shelf. Seeds in the pot grow into saplings naturally or with bone meal.
Bees.
A bee carrying pollen fertilizes our seeds and saplings—on farmland, in dirt, and in pots—just like vanilla crops, with the same limitations.
Greenhouse.
A structure found in fields and meadows containing crop beds filled with saplings, a chest with gardening supplies, and a gardener's table. It generates at least 6 chunks away from any village or outpost.
Compatibility with Other Mods.
The table recognizes plants from Biomes O' Plenty (dune grass, sea oats, barley, cattail, reed, clover...) and Farmer's Delight (tomatoes). Recipes for them simply do not load if those mods are absent—there are no hard dependencies.
