Description
Adds a modular arrow creation system consisting of fletching, shaft, tip and an effect. Allowing you to create customizable arrows with different properties using the Fletching Table.
The options for fletching are:
- Feathers, have no effect
- Phantom Membrane increases the shooting speed of the arrow.
- Wheat makes landed arrows attract animals
The options for shafts are
- Stick, has no effect.
- Blaze rod, allows the arrow to set the blocks and entities it lands on, on fire.
- Breeze rod, allows the arrow to ignore gravity.
The options for tips are:
- Flint, has not effect.
- Prismarine shards, allow the arrow to work underwater.
- Echo shard, allow the arrow to home into a preselected target. Targets can be selected by left-clicking on them with a bow, that has homing arrows available.
- Amethyst shards, give the arrow an additional 2 levels of piercing.
- Arrows can be crafted without tips, in which case they will deal significantly less damage when hitting entities.
The options for effects are (note these are optional and not required to make arrows):
- Slime balls, allow the arrow to bounce of blocks.
- Gunpowder, causes the arrow to explode upon landing
- Glowstone dust, gives hit entities the glowing effect.
- Potions, turns the arrow into a tipped arrow. Note that using splash or lingering potions will cause the same effect as you would get by throwing the potion upon the arrow hitting something.
Furthermore, skeleton variants shooting tipped arrows now have a chance of using splash versions of the same arrows, and the loot tables for various structures have been modified to include the new arrow types.
