Description

Gemancy

Gemancy is a magical RPG equipment mod for Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 on NeoForge. It adds passive Curios charms, drinkable elixirs, socketable gems and stones, Void Crystal Ore in the End, and a smithing-table armor socketing system.

Charms provide passive effects while equipped in Curios slots. Elixirs are drinkable items that apply long 60-minute effects. Gems and stones can be used for stat-focused builds, including health, attack damage, armor, movement speed, attack speed, toughness, luck, and risk/reward tradeoffs.

Features

- Curios charms for passive effects such as Speed, Strength, Regeneration, Haste, Resistance, Fire Resistance, Night Vision, Water Breathing, Invisibility, Slow Falling, Luck, Absorption, and more.
- Long-duration elixirs, including stronger vanilla-style effects and custom effects such as Magnetism, Tremor Sense, Nature's Grace, Firewall, Overheal, Berserker, Step Up, Anchor, Adrenaline, Vampirism, Thorns Aura, XP Boost, Double Loot, Endurance, and Blast Proof.
- Socketable gems and stones for armor builds.
- Gem Binding Sigil for applying gems to armor in a smithing table.
- Gem Release Sigil for removing gems from armor in a crafting grid.
- Void Crystal Ore generation in End biomes.
- Structure chest loot across dungeons, mineshafts, temples, fortresses, strongholds, bastions, End cities, and woodland mansions.
- Optional JEI integration for custom recipes.

How To Use

Equip charms in Curios slots to keep their effects active. Drink elixirs like potions to apply their effects for 60 minutes.

To socket armor, use a smithing table:

- Template: Gem Binding Sigil
- Base: any trimmable armor
- Addition: a compatible Gemancy gem or stone

To remove a gem, craft the gemmed armor with a Gem Release Sigil. The recipe returns the gem and leaves the cleaned armor.

Dependencies

Required:

- Minecraft 1.21.1
- NeoForge 21.1.x
- Curios API

Optional:

- Just Enough Items

Client and server should both install the mod for multiplayer.

Safety and License
