About
Description
The Ghost
- Spawns 32 blocks away from the player within 6 seconds of joining (or after any gap). One ghost per player, always.
- Invulnerable — it cannot be killed.
- Maintains a ~32-block orbit: moves closer if you run, backs away if you approach. If you get within 8 blocks or it falls too far behind, it teleports back into position.
- Looks like you — it renders using your own player skin, semi-transparent with a pale blue tint, gently bobbing up and down.
- Plays creepy ambient sounds at random intervals: enderman stare, phantom, ghast warn, wither, cave sounds — pitched low.
- No nametag. It's just... there.
Atmosphere
- A client-side mixin tightens the fog by 30%, making the world feel more claustrophobic. The ghost lurks just at the edge of your vision.
Spawn Rules
- Only spawns in dimensions with sky light (overworld-like). Not in the Nether or End.
- Spectator/creative players are exempt.
The overall feel is a psychological horror mod — the ghost never attacks you, it just watches you from a distance, wearing your face.
