Glass Breaker

Glass Breaker makes pickaxes break glass as fast as they break stone—no more waiting on a fixed vanilla mining speed when taking down a glass build.

This is an unofficial continuation of Glass Breaker by unilock (MIT licensed, source), updated for current Minecraft versions.

All credit for the original idea and implementation goes to unilock.

Features

• Pickaxes of any tier—including modded pickaxes—break glass at normal pickaxe speed.
• Efficiency works as expected.

• Drops are unchanged. Silk Touch is still required to get the glass back.
• No dependencies—Fabric API is not required.
• Tiny: only one mixin and one tag file.
• Compatible with Sodium, Lithium, and similar optimization mods.

Multiplayer

Install the mod on both the server and the client.

The server computes the actual breaking speed, while the client only predicts it. ```
