No reviews yet
An update to the glowier side of Minecraft.
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.
Quilt is a fork of the Fabric mod loader. Many Fabric mods are compatible with Quilt and vice versa.

- Description -
Glow Up! is a simple datapack that adds a few minor (and unasked for) features to the glowier side of Minecraft. I felt Minecraft needed some way to use the glowing effect apart from the spectral arrow. That's why I made this pack. (You can probably make some cool minigames)
- Features -
- Glowing Leather Armor
- A new set of armor that makes the player glow when worn
- Only one piece of the set is needed to work, and every piece can be redyed
- Curse of Radiance
- A new curse that forces the glowing effect on the wearer
- Glowier Glow Berries
- Players are granted 15 seconds of glowing after eating glow berries
- Useful for those confusing multiplayer caving missions
- Glow Berrier Spectral Arrows
- Glow berries can be used as a substitute for glowstone dust in the spectral arrow recipe
With cheats enabled, you can use the command /function mglow:.item_selection to gain the custom items without needing to craft them.
- Installation -
Datapack: Just move the file into the datapacks folder of your world and start up the game. It's as simple as that!
Mod: Simply move the file into your mods folder of your world. The mod supports Fabric, Forge, and Quilt.
To uninstall, just remove the pack from the world/mod from your mods folder. Any special items will be left over, but it shouldn't affect performance at all.
- Compatibility -
This datapack is only compatible with 1.21 and will not work in any earlier versions
