Goety Rituals for REI

**Goety REI Compat** adds [Goety](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/goety) Dark Altar ritual recipes to [Roughly Enough Items (REI)](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/roughly-enough-items) on **Minecraft 1.20.1 (Fabric)**.

Goety's Fabric build includes JEI integration, but Fabric modpacks using REI have no built-in way to browse ritual recipes. This mod fills that gap.

### Features

- **Press R in REI** on an item to see Goety rituals that produce it
- **Summon & convert rituals** — press R on spawn eggs (e.g. Black Beast) to view their rituals
- **Three REI categories:**
  - Goety Dark Ritual (item crafting)
  - Goety Enchanting Ritual (enchanted books)
  - Goety Summon Ritual (summoning & conversion)
- **Ritual details:** pedestal layout, activation item, craft type, soul cost (per second), and duration
- **Research scroll icons** in the top-left when a ritual requires knowing a scroll (Ravaging, Buried, Haunting, etc.) — including prerequisite scrolls when two are needed
- **Open in Black Book** button for a matching Goety Black Book page

### How to use

1. Install alongside Goety and REI in your mods folder
2. In REI, hover an item or spawn egg and press **R**
3. Open the **Goety** recipe tabs to see matching Dark Altar rituals

### Notes for modpack authors

- Client-side only — safe to include in modpacks; players do not need it on dedicated servers
- Uses reflection against Goety's ritual recipe class; no compile-time dependency on Goety sources
- Originally built for modpack integration; contributions and issue reports welcome
