About

Description

Golden Apple Timer is a lightweight, client-side Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 that displays a countdown while you eat a Golden Apple or Enchanted Golden Apple. No more needing to guess whether your apple will land before you take that next hit, the timer shows you exactly how much eating time remains, right below your crosshair.

Features

Live eating countdown A clean countdown appears just below your crosshair the moment you start eating, ticking down in tenths of a second (1.6s → 0.0s) and vanishing the instant you finish or cancel. Because it sits directly under your crosshair, you never have to glance away from a fight to check your timing. Works with both apple types Fully supports both the regular Golden Apple and the Enchanted Golden Apple, automatically detecting whichever one you're eating.

Customisable colour Choose a fixed colour that suits your HUD using intuitive R, G, and B sliders, or switch on Dynamic Color to have the timer smoothly shift colour as it counts down, giving you a sense of how much time is left without even reading the number.

Adjustable scale Scale the timer text up or down to match your resolution, GUI scale, and personal preference, so it's always readable without being intrusive.

Live preview The settings screen includes a real-time preview, so you can dial in your colour and size exactly how you want them before ever eating an apple in-game. Clean, native integration The timer respects your HUD visibility settings and renders using Minecraft's native text system, so it looks like a natural part of the game rather than a bolted-on overlay.

Compatibility

Minecraft: 1.21.11 Mod loader: Fabric (Loader 0.18.0+) Dependencies: Fabric API, Cloth Config Optional: Mod Menu (for in-game access to the settings screen)

Client-side only, it's safe to use on any server, with no server-side installation required.
