MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF THE DATAPACK/MOD TO AVOID ISSUES!
For some reason, Minecraft only has golden carrots! Why is this? Why are the good ol' taters left in the dust?
With this datapack, you can change that! By using the same crafting recipe as a golden carrot but with a baked potato instead of a carrot, you can craft the amazing golden baked potato! This shiny spud will give you 8 food points and a whopping 16.8 saturation! (Calculated by subtracting the stats of a carrot from those of a baked potato, then adding the stats of a golden carrot.) So, what are you waiting for? Get a crafting table and make Idaho proud!
Remember, kids: make sure to add the data pack in your world's datapacks folder for it to work and in your resource packs folder to make it look good - this file is multi-functional! If you don't feel like using a texture pack, you can install it as a mod, which is supported by forge, fabric, quilt, and neoforge! Yippee!
Here's a picture of the recipe:

(Psst! Don't tell anyone, but the golden baked potato is really just a poisonous potato that tastes and looks better and doesn't give you indigestion!)

Oh and thanks to modrinth for making it really easy to turn a datapack into a mod!
