Graphene ore adds a powerful new material and progression tier beyond Netherite.

Explore the Nether to find Graphene Ore, process it into Graphene Scrap and Graphene Ingots, then travel to End Cities to find the Graphene Upgrade Template. Once you have the template and enough Graphene Ingots, you can upgrade your Netherite equipment into powerful Graphene gear.

✨ Features

Graphene Ore
Graphene Ore generates underground in the Nether. Veins can contain up to 3 Graphene Ore, with multiple generation attempts per chunk.

Graphene Gear
Craft Graphene swords, axes, pickaxes, shovels, hoes, and full armor.

Graphene Upgrade Template
Graphene Upgrade Templates can be found in End City treasure chests. Search End Cities to begin the next stage of progression.

Netherite → Graphene
Graphene equipment is created through smithing. You need your existing Netherite equipment, a Graphene Upgrade Template, and a Graphene Ingot.

Recipe / progression explanation

The progression is intentionally built around Netherite so Graphene feels like an upgrade rather than just another material.

1. Find Graphene Ore

Go into the Nether and mine Graphene Ore.

Graphene Ore → Graphene Scrap

2. Process the scrap

Use the Graphene Scrap to create the processed material needed for the next step.

Graphene Scrap → Graphene Ingots

3. Find the Graphene Upgrade Template

Travel to an End City and search the treasure chests for the Graphene Upgrade Template.

This makes the End City the gateway to Graphene equipment.

4. Upgrade Netherite equipment

Use a Smithing Table.

The basic recipe is:

Netherite Equipment + Graphene Upgrade Template + Graphene Ingot → Graphene Equipment

For example:

Netherite Sword + Graphene Upgrade Template + Graphene Ingot → Graphene Sword

Netherite Pickaxe + Graphene Upgrade Template + Graphene Ingot → Graphene Pickaxe

And the same system applies to the axe, shovel, hoe, helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.

This means you don't throw away your Netherite gear — you upgrade it into Graphene gear.
