Description

# Grenade Variety

Grenade Variety is a Minecraft mod that adds four unique types of grenades, each with its own tactical uses. Designed with modpacks in mind, this mod allows players to experience explosive variety for combat, utility, and creative strategies.

Grenades

Each grenade serves a specific purpose, allowing you to use the right tool for any situation:

1. HE Grenade (High Explosive)

  • Description: A powerful grenade with an enlarged explosion radius.
  • Uses: Perfect for clearing large areas or taking out groups of enemies.
  • Caution: Causes significant terrain damage.

2. Incendiary Grenade (I)

  • Description: Ignites everything in its blast radius, setting enemies and flammable blocks on fire.
  • Uses: Great for crowd control or defending against mobs.
  • Caution: Fire spreads quickly, so handle with care!

3. Fragmentation Grenade (Frag)

  • Description: Releases shrapnel on detonation, which causes bleeding to hit entities.
  • Uses: Effective against heavily armored targets or groups of mobs.
  • Caution: Has a wide shrapnel range; stay back to avoid self-injury.

4. Foam Grenade

  • Description: Creates a temporary, climbable bubble of foam that extinguishes fire within its radius.
  • Uses: Ideal for building temporary escape routes, climbing tall structures, or fire control.
  • Caution: The foam dissipates after a short period. (WIP)

Compatibility

  • Minecraft Versions: Tested with Minecraft 1.20.1.
  • Modpacks: Grenade Variety was designed with modpacks in mind and can complement adventure, combat, or utility-focused packs.
  • Other Mods: Works well with combat mods, tech mods, and exploration mods.
