Description
Hello! Welcome to the Rulebook! Your best friend for learning all about the cards in this mod! If you enjoy powerful spells, card games, or just feeling cool, then this mod is for you!
(This mod is only my fourth mod I have made, and it was made in MCreator with limited knowledge of the software, so it might not be perfect.)
In the world of Minecraft, there isn't just mining and crafting, there is also betting, people who enjoy their "gambling games" (there is no gambling in this mod). The people felt bad getting scammed out of their money when a random guy pulls up and plays a hand of all aces, so they decided to start cheating. They did this by combining their normal paper cards with magical ingridients to make them win more often. Now, I have found the ways that they did this, and I am documenting everything I know currently in the RULEBOOK below! I hope that you may be able to find out more than I already have! (aka, please give me some ideas for some new items in the comments after you play the mod!)
THE RULEBOOK
There are 4 different cards that were added in this mod, which you use to craft the 4 special decks that have their own abilities.
There is also one "secret" 5th card that is crafted by combining all of the other items from this mod.
The Deck of Hearts
It is crafted by surrounding a piece of paper with 8 Heart Cards. When used, creatures hit with its projectile get a temporary health boost effect (or at least that is what is supposed to happen... Like I said, this is only my fourth mod, it might not be perfect.) but also get a mining fatigue effect for the same amount of time.
The Deck of Clubs
It is crafted in the same way as the Deck of Hearts, except instead of 8 Heart Cards, you need 8 Club Cards. When used, it fires a high damage and high knockback projectile that can deal with most creatures. (It only takes 32 hits to kill a Warden :O)
The Deck of Spades
I think you get the gist of how these decks are crafted now. When you left-click or right-click while it is in your main hand, it will transform into a pike (you can do the same with the pike to change it back). The pike is a short-ranged weapon that deals good damage and attacks fast. Also if you are confused why it is a pike and not a shovel I was too, until I looked it up on google. Apparently Spades are actually a term for shovels, but in cards it symbolized the head of a pike, so that is why I made it transform into a pike :D
The Deck of Diamonds
This is the last deck, and I think you understand how to craft it. It is the most expensive deck, but for good reason. When you use it, it will fire a projectile that explodes upon making contact with a BLOCK, NOT A CREATURE! It will not deal damage to creatures if you hit them dead on and will just waste your ammo. This is my favorite of the decks, despite it being so expensive. (It also may be a Gambit reference from X-Men...)
The Secret Last Item
This secret last item is made by combining every card and each deck together with a single paper in the center to make a powerful card that you can use to brag to your friends about. It is also pretty good. I recommend that you play the mod without looking at the items in the creative inventory so that you get a good experience with the mod!
Anyways, that is all for this mod! I hope you guys like this mod! It took me a while to make, so yeah. Also, please give kind constructive criticism in the comments!
