Description
Hey, I've got some dirt on this cool new mod
Oh yeah, what's that?
It's called Grounded and it adds a whole bunch of new soil types that fit better with their local environment than traditional dirt. There's permafrost in snowy biomes, sandy dirt in savannas, loam in jungles and more! Featuring the soils from recent versions of Immersive Weathering expanded into their own mod with the addition of paths and coarse soils.
Pairs well with:
Breaking new ground with new types of soil.
What's Grounded?
Grounded gives biomes massively more distinct identities, down to the very soil they stand on. Badlands now sport cracked, dry earthen clay. Tundra dirt has frozen into deep permafrost. REST OF THE SOILS These soils aren't just pretty either--each incentivises growing certain crops faster on them, based on those crops' real life growing preferences.
REQUIRES MOONLIGHT!

Grounded has built-in compat for:
- Farmer's Delight
- Biomes O' Plenty
- No Man's Land

Each soil has their own paths, farmlands, and grassy and coarse versions.
Mulch and Nulch are decorative blocks that cover the base of the stem of plants placed on them, as if in a heaped flowerbed.
Villages now have paths made from the appropriate soils for their biomes, as well as having their respective farmlands growing their ideal crops.
