But farming isn't always safe. Zeds can contaminate fields, causing infection to slowly spread between crops. Harvesting contaminated plants can produce hidden Tainted Food, capable of infecting survivors with the deadly Zed Virus.

Use specialized equipment such as the Plant Scanner, treat infected crops through a rhythm-based treatment minigame, or become skilled enough to produce the Zed-Virus Antiserum.
