Description

Enchanting Overhaul Mod

A standalone Minecraft Fabric mod managed by the PCKR Engine that overhauls enchanting mechanics to be fully deterministic, guess-free, and customizable.

Features

  • Deterministic Preview: Hovering over any enchanting table option displays a tooltip containing all guaranteed enchantments that will be applied to the item.
  • Table Reroll: Injects a Reroll button into the Enchanting Table screen. Clicking it consumes 75% of the enchantment level as Lapis Lazuli and shifts the player's enchanting seed, refreshing the list of available enchantments.
  • Server-Side Validation: All seed mutations and resource consumptions are validated server-side to prevent exploits.

In-Game Configuration Screen

Open the standard Minecraft Options menu and click the PCKR Engine button next to "Done" to open the dashboard. Under the Enchanting Overhaul section, click "Expand" to configure each setting:

Option ID Type Default Description
enabled Boolean true Master enable toggle for the enchanting overhaul.

How to Use

  1. Place a tool or weapon into the Enchanting Table slot along with Lapis Lazuli.
  2. Hover over any of the three enchanting options. The tooltip will display the full list of enchantments that will be applied.
  3. If you do not like the selection, click the Reroll button on the left of the slot grid. This consumes 1 Lapis Lazuli and rolls a new set of options.

Info > the mod's name was changed to Guess-free Enchanting temporarily. I'll be brainstorming new names.

Thanks for downloading, and if you ever run into any issues, please contact me. I'll get it sorted right away. ~protoncracker.
