Happy Ghast Whistle

You don't know where your Happy Ghast is? You don't feel like going all the way over to your Happy Ghast? I think I've got you covered. Just use a goat horn that's paired to your Happy Ghast, and your Happy Ghast will come to you when you call!

Features

Pairing with your Happy Ghast

• Pair your Happy Ghast to any goat horn by giving the goat horn the same name as your Happy Ghast

Call Mode

• Just play the paired goat horn, it's that simple
• Your paired Happy Ghast will come to you
• In the settings, you can even decide how far away it can hear you

Note:

If your Happy Ghast gets stuck, it will try to get itself unstuck. But keep in mind that it's not very smart, so you'll probably need to go rescue it.

Locate Mode

• If you want to know where it's at but you don't want it to come find you, just crouch when you use the goat horn
• You can have it glow, so that it's easier to see where it's at
• You can have it show up on the locator bar as a waypoint if you'd like

Riding Boost

• Everyone thinks that the Happy Ghasts are way too slow. You can get a speed boost if you use the paired goat horn while you're riding it
• Holding the paired goat horn while riding will give you an additional speed bonus on top of any boost you may have

Tempting

• Snowballs are a good way to get the attention of a Happy Ghast. But if you have several then they can all get in your way. Holding the paired goat horn will ONLY get the attention of the Happy Ghast that it's paired to. But don't worry. You can't accidentally feed it your goat horn.

(Hint: In the settings you can change how far away the goat horn tempting will work. It's better than using snow balls!)

Note for 26.3

In version 2.0.0 for Minecraft 26.3, the current minimum version of YetAnotherConfigLib (3.9.6) that is available for 26.3 has a bug. To adjust the settings with the sliders, click on the slider setting then use the left/right arrows on your keyboard. If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can hold control or shift while you roll the scroll wheel. All of the features of Happy Ghast Whistle are working in 26.3, and you can also manually adjust the settings in the settings file. If you have commands turned on, you can run this command in-game to reload the settings from the file without restarting Minecraft:

/happy_ghast_whistle reload
