About

Description

HapticCraft is a Minecraft mod that integrates with bHaptics TactSuit devices to provide immersive haptic feedback.

With HapticCraft, you can feel the game through your body.
For example, when you break a block, take damage, or dive into water, your TactSuit responds with matching haptic effects — making Minecraft more immersive than ever.

Requirements

  • Windows 11 or Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) environment
  • bHaptics PC Playerinstallation required — Download bHaptics PC Player here
  • Minecraft Launcher installation required — Download Minecraft Launcher here
  • Verify that you have purchased Minecraft: Java Edition

  1. Click “Versions” on the HapticCraft mod’s detail page.
  2. Under the Modloader section, select your preferred mod loader.
  • Choose the loader (Fabric or NeoForge) that best fits your environment or purpose.
    • Fabric: Lightweight and fast recommended for performance-focused setups.
    • NeoForge: Highly compatbilewith various mod packs and extensive mod environments.

[NoticeReference]

You must use only one mod loader for HapticCraft, either Fabric or NeoForge.

Installing both at the same time may cause the game to malfunction or crash.

  1. Find the mod that matches your current Minecraft version, then click the “Install” button.
  2. Select the Minecraft profile where you want to install HapticCraft.
  • Select a Profile or choose Create a New Profile.

Customization

Note: Config customization is only available on Forge and NeoForge. The Fabric version does not support this feature.

You can customize haptic feedback by editing the config file. Each haptic event has an enable/disable toggle and an intensity multiplier.

Config File Location

.minecraft/config/hapticcraft-client.toml

Note: Close Minecraft before editing. Changes take effect on next launch.

Editing the Config

Open the file with any text editor (Notepad, VS Code, etc.).

#Master intensity for all haptic feedback
#Range: 0.2 ~ 2.0
masterIntensity = 1.0

[combat]
    meleeHitEnabled = true
    meleeHitIntensity = 1.0
  • Toggle: Set Enabled values to true or false
  • Intensity: Adjust Intensity values within the specified range (0.0 ~ 2.0)
  • Master Intensity: Scales all effects globally (final intensity = master × individual)

Caution: Setting intensity values too low may result in haptic feedback not being felt at all.
