About
Description
This mod expands Minecraft’s own temperature system to make extremely hot biomes and dimensions dangerous to players. When the temperature is high enough, exposed players will gradually take heat damage.
Features
-
Extreme Heat: Biomes with a temperature above 2.0 will cause players to suffer from heat damage.
-
Heat Protection: Stay protected from the heat by hiding under trees, buildings, or inside caves, or simply by wearing a helmet.
-
Helmets: Most helmets can protect you from the heat, but chainmail helmets do not provide protection.
-
Fast Heat Ticks, Low Damage: Heat damage is applied frequently, but each hit deals very little damage. An exposed player will take a long time to die, giving you plenty of time to find shelter.
-
Spawn Prevention: An annoying spawn-prevention system prevents the world from spawning you at night when the spawn location is in an extremely hot biome.
-
Peaceful Mode: The heat damage system is disabled on Peaceful difficulty.
Survive the heat, find shelter, and don't forget your helmet!
