This mod Requires Geckolib mod to work

Standard survival combat is entirely too safe. This mod is a structural overhaul of Minecraft's tactical engagements, introducing brutal area-denial weapons designed to control space, break line-of-sight, and inflict overwhelming attrition.

This is not a magic mod. These are lethal, physics-based payloads that force players to adapt their spacing or face immediate asphyxiation. More importantly, it introduces psychological and auditory warfare—targets caught in the gas cannot hide silently.

The Tactical Arsenal

☣️ Carbon Monoxide (CO) Payload A heavy-attrition area-denial weapon designed to break enemy mobility and track their position.

  • The Mechanic: Engulfs the target zone in a dense cloud marked by custom grey and red skull emissions.

  • The Lethality: Bypasses standard armor to inflict rapid asphyxiation (Drowning damage). Simultaneously triggers cellular decay (Wither) and motor-function failure (Slowness).

  • Auditory Tracking: Afflicted targets suffer violent respiratory failure, emitting distinct coughing audio cues. If a player tries to hide while afflicted, their character's coughing will give away their exact coordinates to the hunter.

☣️ Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Payload A highly corrosive crowd-control weapon designed to dismantle enemy coordination and vision.

  • The Mechanic: Floods the impact zone with toxic green and red skull particle emissions.

  • The Lethality: Instantly strips visibility (Blindness) while rapidly stacking corrosive tissue damage (Poison) and suffocation (Drowning).

  • Auditory Tracking: Like the CO payload, targets caught in the SO2 cloud will continuously cough. This ensures that even while the environment is flooded with smoke and visual chaos, you can pinpoint the blinded target's exact location by following the sound of them choking.

🌫️ Tactical Smokescreen Bomb An evasion and repositioning tool. Detonates a high-density, rapidly expanding cloud of campfire signal smoke. Completely breaks enemy line-of-sight, allowing you to vanish from a lost engagement or safely reposition to flank a blinded target.

Countermeasures

🩹 Field Med Kit Survival has a severe cost. The Med Kit is the only way to purge the lethal effects of the CO and SO2 payloads, but it operates under strict, punishing rules:

  • Positional Requirement: The kit is completely useless inside the active gas zone. You must physically escape the chemical cloud before the cure can be administered.

  • The Penalty: It aggressively resets the body's chemistry. It will cure the toxic gas effects, but it will simultaneously strip all of your positive potion effects. If you get caught in the gas, you lose your buffs.

The arena is operational. Adapt, or suffocate.
