Description

Heros67 brings hero gameplay to Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge: three lives, grappling hooks, backpacks, PvP rules, dungeons, and bosses – all in a centralized, server-authoritative mod.

What is Heros67?

Instead of many separate mods, Heros67 bundles the core mechanics of a hero SMP into a single package. Lives, world rules, and PvP run on the server. Clients need the same version installed.

3-Life System

Each player starts with 3 lives (configurable).
HUD in the top left showing hearts and combat status.
At 0 lives: Spectator mode or optional permaban.
Revival Token: Right-clicking on a player grants +1 life.
Admins: /lives, /setlives, /revive

Grappling Hook

Right-click fires the hook. If it hits a block, you are reeled in.
Three tiers: Grappling Hook, Reinforced Grappling Hook, Hero Grappling Hook.
Features range, cooldown, durability, and a visible rope.

Backpacks

Scout (18), Adventurer (36), Hero (54) extra slots.
Inventory is stored inside the item. Press B to open the backpack.

World and PvP

Nether locked by default, End optional, world border configurable.
PvP enabled, friendly fire disabled, teams respected.
Gentleman's Agreement: /helfen agreement

Creatures and Dungeons

Rift Stalker – Overworld mob, drops Rift Shard.
Dungeon Warden – Boss with a health bar, drops Warden Core.
Underground Hero Dungeons with loot chests.

Commands

/lives – check your own lives (Admins: /lives <player>)
/helfen / /helfen agreement
/setlives <player> <number>
/revive <player> [number]

Installation

Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
Place the JAR in the mods folder – required on both client and server.
After the first launch, adjust config/heldenmod-common.toml.
Java 21 is required. Simple Voice Chat, JEI, Corpse, and Carry On are optional and not included.
