Gives Speed II when running on "path" blocks
Data Packs were introduced to vanilla Minecraft in version 1.13 and allow the server to modify data about the game, or run commands. Data Packs are compatible with all mod loaders.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

Description
A better way to travel
This datapack gives Speed II when running on "path" like blocks! This gives more incentive to create paths between landmarks creating a more connected world. The effect is given after sprinting on paths for 1 second to avoid random FOV changes.
Current path blocks
- dirt path
- coarse dirt
- cobblestone
- gravel
Adding more path blocks
To add more blocks to be used edit the path.json located here:
data/fastpath/tags/blocks/path.json
