Horror Kit, formerly Quiet Visitor, adds false arrivals, unsettling conversations, and horror advancements to ordinary Minecraft moments. Choose the parts you want and leave the rest switched off.

Getting started

Choose features in the main-menu setup. Pack creators: include config/quietvisitor-client.toml when exporting. Reopen setup with /horrorkitsetup. Replace older Quiet Visitor/Horror Kit files and remove duplicate Horror Messages or ScaryMessages mods.

Visitors with something to say

Some speak, some leave quietly. Conversations branch into stories and can react to what you do while a visitor is present.

Familiar names, wrong timing

In multiplayer, a visitor can imitate a distant friend’s messages or connection notices. Your friend has not actually sent them.

Small things move

A conversation can bring sounds, nearby wooden-door movement, or a short weather aftermath. Encounters are spaced out.

Unexpected advancements

Actions and circumstances can trigger horror advancements even without a visitor. Looking into the night may be enough.
