Horse Compass
Have you ever lost your horse? Tired of searching? Craft a horse compass and track your favorite horse.
Usage
Craft your horse compass with the following recipe
Right click a horse with the compass to track it. A heart particle indicates that the horse is now tracked. A tracking compass glows and points to the location of the horse if you are in the same dimension.

Extras
Tracking a named entity automatically renames the horse compass to the named entities name.
Extending Trackables
You can extend the trackable entites by extending the entity type tag
horsecompass:trackable_by
via a datapack. How to extend tags is documented on the Minecraft Wiki#Tag. The mod checks if an entity type has the tag and then if true saves the entity to the compass.
