Description

🐴 Better Horses — Small Features, Big Quality of Life

This mod brings a collection of practical improvements to horse behavior and interaction, making them more enjoyable and useful in everyday gameplay.

🛡️ Horse Armor & Inventory

  • Horse armor is now enchantable
  • Mules and zombie horses can wear horse armor
  • Zombie horses now spawn naturally during zombie village sieges
  • Open your own inventory by default while riding a horse
    (Hold Control while opening inventory to access the horse’s — configurable!)

🧠 Smart Horse Behavior

  • No more random wandering once saddled
  • No bucking when trying to ride
  • Horse lowers its head when you look down, improving visibility

🚀 Movement Upgrades

  • Ride through leaves — they just slow you down, not stop you
  • Horses can now swim with you on them
  • Horses can enter rafts

🎮 Creative Mode

  • All tameable rideable mobs are automatically tamed in Creative

🔮 Coming Soon

  • Trim support for horse armor
  • Horse whistle using goat horns
