About

Description

If you've ever experienced the extremely first-world problem of constantly having to switch between your elytra and protection IV diamond chestplate, this is the perfect mod for you. It adds one very simple feature: the ability to right-click-equip armor even when you already have a piece of armor equipped in that slot! No need to go into your inventory just to switch your armor!

Here's a GIF to prove just how simple it is:

Some use cases

Of course, this feature isn't limited merely to armor; things like elytra, pumpkins, skulls, basically anything that goes in your armor slots can be hot-swapped with the mod. It may also be useful in conjunction with other mods that add say jetpacks or armors that give you certain potion effects when equipped. Or how about switching between Frost Walker and Depth Strider boots?

Another area where this mod may be useful is in Survival Games/PvP type situations, where quick upgrading to newly found better armor is a common theme. This may be a good thing, may be considered cheating, but it's pretty handy nonetheless.

Installing

This mod installs just like most other forge mods - that is, install forge and then drop the .jar file into your mods folder in .minecraft (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, just google "How to install forge mods for minecraft"). Please note that this is a client side mod, so server owners, there's no need to install this to your servers, it's up to the player to install this mod to their client. This also means that you can use the mod on vanilla servers without any problems.

If you want to put this mod into your mod pack...

...you are more than welcome to! All I ask in return is for you to link back to this site (curse/curseforge) when you do so.
