Hotbar Trainer

A reaction trainer for fast hotbar slot selection — built for PvP players who want their slot reaches (pearls, gapples, crystals, totems) in muscle memory.

How it works

1. Join a singleplayer world and press the start key (default H, rebindable).
2. After a randomized delay, a large slot number appears above your crosshair with a sound cue.
3. Switch to that slot as fast as you can — your reaction time appears, color-coded (gold < 180 ms, green < 300 ms, yellow < 450 ms).
4. It keeps going until you press the key again, then prints a session summary (hits, misses, average, best, best streak).

Selecting the wrong slot counts as a miss and resets your streak (toggleable). It watches the actual selected slot, so it works with any custom hotbar keybinds.

Configuration (Mod Menu → Hotbar Trainer)

• Speed — base delay between prompts (100–3000 ms)
• Unpredictability — random ± jitter so the rhythm is never predictable
• Slot range — train only slots you actually use (e.g. 1–8)
• Repeat avoidance, sound cues, stats HUD toggles

Notes

• Singleplayer only — deliberately inert on servers.
• Requires Fabric API and Cloth Config; Mod Menu recommended for the config screen.
