Hear the lambs screaming?

Hungered is a mod that adds a new dubious way to obtain meat, yourself. It introduces a new weapon, the Bone Shiv, which you can get by smashing a bone in your offhand against any hard or stone-like surface.

When you get a Bone Shiv, you can crouch  and right-click to get a single piece of meat, at the cost of 20% of your max HP. The interesting part is the 35% chance to get the Kuru "debuff", rendering you unable to eat anything that isn't meat and draining your hunger bar faster than Hunger, but letting you eat three times as fast and giving you almost free use of the Bone Shiv.

The disease makes you laugh in chat, but that's not a problem, is it?

The real problem is when a player embraces Kuru. Stacking up to more than 10 minutes of said debuff, it becomes the Wendigo's Curse, rendering you unable to consume anything that's not Raw Dubious Meat and draining hunger and health even faster, but allowing you to eat even faster than before and making ANY killed mob drop between 0-6 pieces of meat when killed.
