Overview

The Hungr datapack significantly increases Minecraft's difficulty by introducing new survival mechanics, hunger-based effects, and hostile world events.

  • Stronger Night Mobs: Hostile mobs gain strength at night and even more during blood moons.
  • Undead Horsemen: Rarely, undead mobs summon lightning and spawn mounted zombie horsemen.
  • Dynamic RandomTickSpeed: The tick speed increases during rain, affecting crop growth and other random events.
  • Blood Moon Events: Blood moons grant hostile mobs extra strength and speed, while players gain night vision.
  • Hunger-Based Attributes: Player abilities change based on hunger level, with special effects for starving, undernourished, and well-nourished states.
  • Animal Defense: Farm animals retaliate when attacked, dealing damage and fleeing.
  • Iron Smelting Disabled in Furnaces: Iron cannot be smelted in regular furnaces, increasing resource scarcity.
  • Sheep no longer drop wool
  • No keep inventory
  • Huge debuffs when hungry
  • No natural regen
