# HunterxHider (HxH)

**HunterxHider** is an immersive, horror-themed asymmetric minigame mod built for NeoForge. Inspired by classic survival-horror and hide-and-seek games, it pits a terrifying, armed Hunter against clever Hiders in a tense race for survival. 

Hiders must work together to complete objectives, manage map power, and escape, while the Hunter utilizes tracking tools and sheer power to eliminate them before time runs out.

## 🎮 Features & Gameplay Mechanics

* **Asymmetric PvP:** Play as either the Hunter (equipped with a custom weapon and an immersive Hunter Mask overlay) or a Hider trying to survive.
* **Dynamic Map Interaction:** Features fully functional Light Switches, Main Circuit Controls, and Power Generators that require Fuel to keep the lights on.
* **Complex Escape Routes:** Hiders must search for Room Keys to bypass Locked Doors, use Bolt Cutters, and configure the Elevator Controller system to secure an escape hatch victory.
* **Immersive Horror Elements:** Experience built-in client-side features like the **Heartbeat Warning system**, which pulses faster as the danger approaches, and custom overlays.

## 🎒 Tactical Items & Tools

* **Medical Supplies:** Recover from close encounters using Small and Large Medkits.
* **Stealth & Utility:** Blind opponents with Smoke Bombs, escape tight spots with Speed Boosters, or hunt targets down with the handheld Scanner.
* **Traps & Hazards:** Watch your step around environmental hazards like Berry Traps, or look for designated Safe Zones.
