Description
Hypixel Chat Modes is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod designed to streamline your chat experience on Hypixel. If you're an active Hypixel player who frequently communicates with party members and guild mates, you know how tedious it can be to constantly type /pc or /gc before every message. This mod solves that problem by adding convenient, clickable buttons directly to your chat screen, allowing you to instantly switch between Normal, Party, and Guild chat modes with a single click.
Key Features
- Visual Mode Buttons: Clean, intuitive buttons integrated directly into the chat interface showing all available chat modes
- One-Click Switching: Instantly toggle between Normal chat, Party chat (
/pc), and Guild chat (/gc) without any typing - Automatic Prefix Management: The mod intelligently adds the correct command prefix to your messages based on your selected mode
- Smart Command Detection: Won't interfere with your manual commands - if your message already starts with
/, the mod respects that and doesn't add a prefix - Persistent Mode Selection: Your selected chat mode stays active until you manually switch it, so you can send multiple messages to the same channel effortlessly
- Seamless Integration: Works naturally with Minecraft's native chat system without disrupting your gameplay or chat experience
- Lightweight Performance: Minimal impact on game performance - this mod is designed to be efficient and unobtrusive
How It Works
Using Hypixel Chat Modes is incredibly simple. When you open your chat screen, you'll immediately see buttons for each available chat mode displayed in the interface. Click on "Normal" to send messages to public chat, "Party" to communicate with your party members, or "Guild" to chat with your guild.
Once you select a mode, all your messages will automatically be sent to that channel until you decide to switch modes again. No more typing /pc or /gc before every single message! The mod handles all the prefix management behind the scenes, making your chat experience smooth and efficient.
For example, if you're in the middle of a dungeon run and need to coordinate with your party, simply click the "Party" button once, and every message you send will go directly to party chat. When you're done and want to chat publicly again, just click "Normal" and you're back to regular chat.
Perfect For
- Hypixel players who frequently switch between party and guild chat during gameplay
- Guild leaders and officers who need to communicate with guild members regularly
- Party leaders coordinating dungeon runs, Bedwars games, or other team activities
- Anyone tired of the repetitive task of typing chat command prefixes
- Players who want a cleaner, more efficient, and more enjoyable chat experience on Hypixel
Technical Requirements
- Minecraft Version: 26.1.2
- Dependencies: Fabric API (required)
- Java Version: Java 25 or higher
Client-Side Only
This mod is entirely client-side, meaning it only needs to be installed on your own computer. You don't need to install it on any servers, and it works perfectly on Hypixel without requiring any server-side modifications. The mod functions by automatically adding the appropriate Hypixel chat commands to your messages before they're sent, making it completely compatible with Hypixel's existing chat system.
